  • DatingWill things keep moving forward with someone I’ve been dating over the next month? I’m a man and she’s a woman; we’re both in our twenties and were introduced through a matchmaker. We’ve met three times. She was keen to talk at first, but now replies slowly and we haven’t arranged another date. I’d like to ask her out again, but worry the interest is one-sided.
  • Marriage & familyCan my fiancé and I agree on where to live within the next three months? I’m a woman and he’s a man, and we plan to marry next year. He wants to live with his parents; I want a place of our own. Several conversations have gone nowhere. Our budget is tight, and I’m worried we’ll leave this unresolved until the wedding is close.
  • Possible infidelity & trustIs my partner becoming romantically involved with someone else? I’m a woman and he’s a man, and we’ve been together for two years. Over the past month, he has been seeing me less and avoiding questions about what’s going on in his life. I don’t have clear evidence, and asking him once didn’t clear things up. I’m worried both about misjudging him and about whether our relationship has changed.
  • Complicated relationships & whether to stayShould I keep seeing this person over the next three months? I’m a man and she’s a woman. We’ve been dating for six months, and I only recently found out she’s married. She says she’ll resolve things in her marriage but hasn’t given a timeframe. I’ve suggested we stop meeting for now, yet I find it hard to cut contact. I’m afraid of waiting indefinitely and unsure how to make my boundaries clear.
Work & business
  • WorkWill this promotion come through before the end of the year? I’ve been with the company for three years. • Job huntingWill my first-choice employer make me an offer this week? I had my final interview last week and haven’t heard back. Another company has offered me a job and needs an answer by Friday. I prefer the first company, but I’m worried about losing the offer I already have while I wait.
  • Running a businessCan I reduce my shop’s losses over the next three months? I opened it six months ago. Fewer customers have been coming in over the past two months, while fixed costs such as rent have stayed the same. I haven’t put more money in yet. • PartnershipsCan we reach a workable partnership agreement and sign it next month? A friend has invited me to open a shop together. My friend wants to sign soon, and I’m finding it hard to ask direct questions because we know each other.
  • Finding directionCan I agree on a lighter workload with my manager within the next month? I’ve recently taken on two projects while also caring for a family member, and I’ve worked overtime for several weeks. My manager says we can discuss it after the busy period but hasn’t set a date. I’m worried this will continue indefinitely and wonder whether to raise it formally this week.
Money & finances
  • PaymentWill this client pay me by the end of the month? I’ve delivered the project and they’ve agreed the amount, but payment is three weeks overdue. They keep saying it’s still being processed internally. I need to pay my supplier at month-end and I’m worried the money won’t arrive in time.
  • Debt & lendingWill my relative repay this loan within the next two months? They were supposed to pay me back last month, but say their income has fallen and they need more time. Pregnancy & family planning
  • Trying for a babyCan my partner and I agree on how to share the appointments and responsibilities of trying for a baby within the next month? We’ve started tests recommended by our doctor. I’d like him to come to follow-up appointments, but work has led him to cancel several times. I’m worried about carrying the stress alone and want an agreement before the next visit.
Travel & keeping in touch
  • Travel & meeting upWill I be able to visit my parents as planned this weekend? I’ve arranged time off but haven’t bought my ticket yet, and they may need to go out of town. I only have two days for the visit. I’m worried about finalizing the trip and then having to change it.
  • Losing contactWill I be able to get back in touch with my family member today? He is away from home and was supposed to check in this morning, but isn’t answering. The person with him hasn’t replied either. I’ve asked other relatives to check and am worried about whether more help is needed. If there is a safety concern, I’ll contact local police immediately rather than wait for a reading.
  • Delayed deliveriesWill my furniture arrive before I move next week? I’ve paid in full, but delivery is five days late. Customer service only says they’re coordinating with the delivery company. There’s no spare bed at the new place, and I’m worried I won’t be able to settle in when I move.

  • Legal proceedingsWill there be any progress in my family member’s legal case over the next month? We’ve hired a lawyer, but there has been no news for two weeks and the next steps are unclear. I’m covering the household expenses, and the uncertainty makes planning difficult. I want to think through arrangements for the coming month; we’ll rely on our lawyer and official notices for the case itself.
Weather & outdoor plans
  • Weather & changing plansCan our outdoor event go ahead as planned this weekend? I’m organizing it and have paid the venue deposit. Rain is forecast, but we haven’t decided whether to move indoors. Rescheduling would cost extra. Other situations
  • Housing & movingCan I make this move work within the next two months? My current lease is ending, and I’ve found a cheaper place farther from work but haven’t signed yet. The office says the application is still under review and hasn’t asked for anything else. My travel is booked, but I need the certificate for the next stage of the process. I’m worried about being asked for more documents at the last minute.
